Cannes Congress Events 2020 - 2021

Every year, the city of Cannes hosts a series of business events across a range of industries, from property, music, film and more. These congresses draw industry leaders from across the world as they come together to network, learn more about their sector and negotiate deals.

The first event of the year is the world’s property market, which is held over four days in March. This is followed by the world’s TV and digital content market in April. May is the Cannes International Film Festival, where filmmakers and actors alike attend to preview their new films. The prestigious Palme d’Or is awarded for the best film. Both the world’s music market and Cannes Lions, the International Festival of Creativity, are held in June.

In the latter half of the year, Cannes is home to the Tax Free World Exhibition, the world’s audio-visual content market, the international market for retail real estate then the International Luxury Travel Market takes place in December.

The Palais des Festivals et des Congress of Cannes, more commonly known as the Palais des Festivals, is home to all the major Cannes events, which is located in the heart of the city at the western end of the Croisette. This exceptional convention centre holds over 50 international events every year, with over 300,000 delegates attending.
